BMW-AZ HEX Editor

BMW-AZ HEX Editor is a free binary editor designed for viewing, editing and comparing BMW dump files. Its clean interface displays hexadecimal values alongside their text representation, making it easy to inspect data, locate specific bytes and review changes.

Open a single file for editing or load two files to compare them side by side in separate panels. Differences are highlighted in red, and navigation commands help you move between changed areas. An information panel shows the current offset, selected bytes and their numerical values.

The editor includes practical tools for everyday work:

• Search for hexadecimal byte sequences or text.
• Replace byte sequences and fill selected areas with a chosen value.
• Copy data between files and save selected blocks separately.
• Switch between insert and overwrite modes.
• Undo and redo supported editing operations.
• Adjust comparison offsets when matching data appears at different positions.
• Customize the font, colors and number of bytes displayed per row.

The interface supports 33 languages, with detailed, illustrated user manuals available for download. BMW-AZ HEX Editor works directly with binary data; it does not automatically identify ECU parameters or correct checksums.
