FEM/BDC-1 IMMO Soft
FEM / BDC-1 IMMO Software — OBD Access via ENET
Work with supported BMW FEM and BDC-1 modules using an ENET cable. The software provides tools for key programming, IMMO data management, module replacement, firmware updates, coding backup, and vehicle configuration.
Available functions:

Add a new key
Program a new key using either a registered working key or the correct DME ISN. -
Erase a key
Remove a selected key from the FEM or BDC-1 module. -
All keys lost
Program a new key when no working key is available, using the correct DME ISN. -
Read the DME/ECU ISN
Use a registered working key and the vehicle’s ignition coil to retrieve the ISN associated with the FEM or BDC-1. -
Reset FEM/BDC-1 mileage
Reset the mileage stored in the FEM or BDC-1 module to 0 km when writing IMMO data. This applies to the module’s stored mileage. -
Adapt a used FEM or BDC-1 to a vehicle
Change the VIN and configure the IMMO data in a compatible replacement module. -
Update or restore FEM/BDC-1 firmware
Install the latest firmware available through the software or restore supported modules with missing or damaged software components. Where coding data is available, the software backs it up and restores it after the update. -
Clone FEM/BDC-1 IMMO data
Save and transfer IMMO data to a compatible replacement module. This is useful when replacing a damaged original module, provided its data can still be read or a suitable backup is available. -
Change the ECU ISN stored in FEM/BDC-1
Change the ISN using a working key or the current DME ISN. A supported procedure is also available without either; this requires programming a new key and ensuring that the DME uses the matching ISN. -
Local and remote operation via ENET
Work locally or through a remote ENET connection. Remote operation requires a stable internet connection throughout the procedure. -
Use the vehicle’s ignition coil as a key reader
Read and program supported keys by holding them against the vehicle’s transponder coil. -
Read, edit, write, and back up FA data
Manage the vehicle order, save it to a file, and restore or transfer it when replacing a compatible FEM or BDC-1. -
Read or change ISN in supported DME EEPROM dumps
Open a supported DME EEPROM dump to read its ISN, or enter a replacement ISN and save a modified copy for writing back with a programmer. -
Use a compatible low-cost EEPROM programmer
Read and write the module’s EEPROM using a compatible programmer. FEM uses 95128 EEPROM, and BDC-1 uses 95256 EEPROM. Programmer compatibility and reliable reading/writing must be confirmed.
Unlocking requirement: Key programming and protected IMMO functions require the FEM or BDC-1 to be unlocked first. Initial unlocking includes reading and writing the EEPROM with an external programmer, followed by the software’s patch procedure.
Supported modules: BMW FEM and BDC-1.
CAS4/CAS4+, BDC2, BDC3, and BCP are not currently supported. Support for these systems is planned for future updates and will be introduced gradually.
